Yuriko Koike Governor of Tokyo on Twitter (Nov 18, 2018): "The Meat Free Monday campaign that we launched at TMG cafeterias in October is enjoying great success. I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Paul McCartney, one of the founders of this movement, and wishing Meat Free Monday All Japan continued success."
Does anyone know the email address I need to report that my Paul McCartney 7" is defective? Yes I know that probably nothing will be done but I'd at least like to alert them of it. If anyone knows where I email to I'd appreciate it.

I'm amazed it's taken this long to be mentioned on the show, but finally tonight on "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" it cropped up in conversation that Emily Atack is related to Paul. Although this has been something I've known about for years since first finding out she's Kate Robbins daughter, I've never quite understood exactly how they're related, beyond them being cousins of some kind. Emily said tonight that her grandmother on her mother's side is Paul's cousin (also said that John and Paul used to practice at her Grandmothers house in the early days!) Anyone know any more detail than that? Even Mark Lewisohn's extended version of "Tune In" doesn't explain a connection to a Robbins family, so am not sure whether the relatives are on Paul's father or mother's side. Mother Mary seems to have had 2 brothers who made it past childhood, and Paul's father Jim looks to have had 6 brothers and sisters who survived childhood. Anyone know which one of them grew up to have a child that would be Paul's cousin/cousin to Kate and Ted Robbins?
And this would be a good opportunity to relate how different that sales and chart positions of albums were back in 1973: Believe it or not, Band On The Run took almost half a year to reach the Billboard #1 album slot (!!!). Released in the first few days of December 1973, it didn't peak at #1 (for one week) on the album chart until mid-April 1974. Then it faded back for 8 weeks, before again returning to #1 (for two weeks). Then it faded for a few more weeks, and then came back to #1 (for one week) in July 1974 for a third time! A very unusual and long chart history.
In Defense of Paul McCartney & Wings' 'Wild Life' and 'Red Rose Speedway' Listeners in 2018 can throw out all this cultural baggage and just enjoy the tunes. Take Wild Life’s “Bip Bop,” a faux-blues throwaway that McCartney himself decried: “It just goes nowhere … I still cringe when I hear it.” Today, it sounds less like a fey trifle than a hypnotic earworm. An article about sweaters!! (WSJ) Why Paul McCartney Was a Fair Isle Sweater Fan (And You Should Be, Too) "The sweater subverted Mr. McCartney’s image, too. In it, he traded in the hippie haberdashery of the late-period Beatles for a homey Scottish aesthetic. Goodbye fast-paced rock-star life; hello country bliss."
