Cheap as in cheesy, yes, but the original CD is one of the rarest out there. Check out the nutso prices it's sold for! Various - Now That's What I Call Music 4 EDIT: McCartney gets trimmed from the old CD version, I see. No need to spend that $500 after all!
I get the concept, but sheesh... they couldn't hire a better animator? (Interesting tacking on the ending from Paul Is Live, though.) Gotta love those opening guitar chords coming out of the Hofner...
As much as we fans are tired of the same old questions, over 90% of people watching that interview haven't heard most of those stories before. My dad and I saw Paul in concert in July, and Paul's usual story of Hendrix and Clapton still gets big laughs. He knows what he's doing, as much as we fans think we know better. That's not directed at you, Ray. I agree that it was a nice interview, but a bit slight for us uber fans. I know going in what type of interview this will be, so I enjoy it for what it is.
That was a good one, and refreshing. I liked how it was different. Also, a clip of "Waterfalls?" "Pipes of Peace?" That was a nice, random, welcome touch.
