I guess that we now know what is replacing the postponed Get Back film by Peter Jackson...

 

In the new archival film, "Get Up and Go", Jackson Peters, a one-time student of Leggy Mountbatten down under, examines how "Let It Rot" was simultaneously released as an album, a film, a lawsuit and a Lego set.

I always wished we had a Paul lead vocal of that, what a bizarre and great tune

Johnny Cash's Mercury output - including Water From The Wells of Home - was just remastered for a big box. Since it was posted last week with everything else, I'm assuming this is the new master:

I went into that expecting a pleasant, heartwarming yet slightly cheesy cover.

Let's just say I was surprised by what I heard.

 

A charity for the hard of hearing, I assume.

You actually get a quarter of each Beatle in each set.

 

I would get one for my trousers and one for my home.

It will air on Ringo’s YouTube at 5pm PDT on July 7, 2020, Starr’s 80th birthday. The show will include unique home performances as well as never before seen concert footage from Starr, Paul McCartney and Joe Walsh as well as Gary Clark Jr, Sheryl Crow, Sheila E and Ben Harper and more."

 

I believe he did more than played bass on it: he provided her with a whole backing track to write lyrics to; her producer completely changed the sounds to fit in with the feel of the rest of the album.

Great track on a really cool album.

 

Yessir...one set has the parts to make all four, but I suspect each portrait has pieces in common as well as unique pieces. It looks like it may have some sort of frame/backing for display. Based on my read, you can change 'em up or purchase four sets to display them all at once. With Peter Jackson's film delayed, the band and their heirs were probably hoping for some extra pocket change so they pulled this outta their box of surprises.
