If not, seek out the 2 CD set and you get the remaster plus most of the bonus tracks

I’ve often thought about what it must be like for Nancy.

“Alright honey, I’ll come up and watch tv with you, but first I have to write a couple more pages of Grandude, put my paint brushes away, add a guitar track to “Liverpool Lil”, send a vocal track to Ringo, write down my thoughts about a couple of my songs for the book, listen to Back to the Egg outtakes, watch a new portion of Peter’s happy Let It Be movie for my approval and do a radio interview.”

“ Nancy? Nancy? Are you still awake?”

I bet Nancy has a pretty busy schedule herself. They can't have many opportunities to just relax and enjoy each other's company.

I would think that Paul not being able to tour has cleared some time for them, but as I’ve noted... Paul can probably keep busy.:D

I guess Paul really believes that idle hands are the devil’s playthings.:p

'Grandude’s Green Submarine' will set sail 2nd September 2021!

"Paul said: "I’m really happy with how 'Hey Grandude!' was received as this was a very personal story for me, celebrating Grandudes everywhere and their relationships and adventures with their grandchildren. I love that it has become a book read to grandkids at bedtime all around the world. I always said if people liked the first book and there was an appetite for more I would write some further adventures for Grandude – so he’s back and this time with his special invention, Grandude’s green submarine!""

I assume that Apple wouldn’t let Grandude have a yellow ... submarine ...

With there be a cd release of Green Submarine with Paul reading like there was for the last one? Couldn’t find a pre order link for that.

Although I have to say, surely Paul must realize doing anything new involving a colored submarine will just invite comparisons to his last effort. Grandude and the Blue Blimp would have been better !

@joeislive, I could find only two places with an active pre-order link. The first was Waterstone's in the UK, and I was able to order it for shipment to the US. IIRC, he did a book signing there once, maybe for the earlier Grandude book?

Grandude's Green Submarine by Paul McCartney, Kathryn Durst | Waterstones

The other place was Foyles, of John Lennon's short speech at the literary lunch fame, from which I did not try to order:

Grandude's Green Submarine - Paul McCartney; Kathryn Durst; | Foyles Bookstore

Here is the page from the UK publisher, Penguin Books, that provided theses links, but the others they list aren't active yet:

    Grandude's Green Submarine

I had to order the "Hey, Grandude" CD from the UK, too. I could not find it for sale in the US. You could get it later as it is included in the softcover edition of "Hey, Grandude", but the two CDs are actually different in content!

The CD in the softcover book has the original CD's reading, minus Paul's publication speech at the end, and it has a second track of Paul's reading with audio guitar-strum page turning cues inserted and Paul's publication speech back at the end.

Variations. Like butterflies they buzz around Paul's head.
