Haha we don’t really need an article for this, right? Today I was driving, the sun was out, and I needed sunglasses. Later today, it was overcast, but it made my eyes squint due to the brightness coming through, and I needed sunglasses. It’s not directed at you, Who Cares. I just think this is such a silly thing to talk about. Or maybe that’s the Californian in me.
You would think so but if you read the post he quoted it’s obvious at least one person doesn’t seem to be aware the sun comes out in November. Imagine his shock when he find outs it comes out in December too!
Ahh, I hadn’t heard that the rumored McCartney/Harrison collaboration had morphed into a Jeff Lynne/ELO track. Need to keep better track of my Beatle rumors/conspiracy theories.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen these live before. They’re a really talented group and genuinely nice people as well, definitely worth checking out.
“I still respect the B side – where else can you find songs like “You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)” or “Ode to a Koala Bear”? So, when my team suggested we put out this box of 45s, one of my hopes was that both sides of the record will be of interest to you. It includes my first solo single, “Another Day” b/w “Oh Woman, Oh Why.” And it includes my latest single, “Women and Wives” b/w St. Vincent’s great three imagining. Between those two singles are 78 others. It doesn’t include my last single because I haven’t written that one yet”. - Paul Paul McCartney on Crate Digging in Jamaica, 7-Inch Singles Box Set – Rolling Stone

Geez, they can't even find a vintage copy of the record? Ha! And why is Tom Frangione pointing at himself? Like he's the focus here !? In a snarky mood tonight.
Thanks for posting this, was just about to. But this is the interview that I said was coming weeks back. If you have SiriusXM, check it out.

I remember getting the High In The Clouds book (published first in 2005), which was a favorite book to read to my kids when they were little. I can't believe that almost 18 years have passed to (hopefully) get the animation film.
I'm excited for this. Other than playing "Here Today" live, Paul has mostly acted like this album never happened.
I wonder if the Lady Gaga song will still be part of the movie and whether it will be more of a duet or simply a McCartney song performed by Gaga ?
