It's a collaboration. According to The Little Monsters, Paul and Lady Gaga collaborated on the song I Can Show You back in 2015.
Here is Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready talking about tracking that session. Mike McCready Tells The Story Behind A Picture Of Himself With Paul McCartney And Lady Gaga Seems to me that it's a McCartney song which Lady Gaga sings on, "three times."
Thank you ! I really hope that the track is used in the movie next year, I'm really excited to hear it now!
That is funny. That photo is a few years old so either National Rail is REALLY slow to respond to the complaint or someone is playing a gag.
I wanted to share something kind of strange I found in music store, a very elaborate Driving Rain songbook:
Cool find. Thanks for sharing. I try to pick those Paul songbooks up whenever possible as they will often contain photography not available elsewhere.
I haven't bothered shopping for these online. I just get them at Half Price Books or something whenever the show up. I had the patience at one time to play guitar and used them for that honestly. McCartney II Tug Of War Broad Street Press To Play Flowers All contain some nice photo sections. Particularly Flowers. P2P is a cool one. Has a photo of Paul in Helen Wheels. Broad Street contains the entire film script!
Ooh wish I had the P2P one - that sounds cool. I used to buy these as well for learning (until I realized the transcriptions weren't necessarily always accurate) but also as collectibles - still like looking through them every so often. Ha - a "$3.95" label just fell off of one of these: those were the days!! The McCIII folio retails at $19.95.
Nice spread! Well done! Here is that Helen Wheels photo of mine from the P2P book lifted from @Maranatha5585 's amazing ephemera thread ... Little weird looking from the curve of the page.
From Review: Thriller 40 Documentary - MJVibe "“Thriller 40” Documentary is due to be available on a streaming platform (unknown yet) in January 2023."
Hell, it was barely a movie. "Broad Street" was a collection of music videos held together by the thinnest possible plot. I'm actually surprised it even runs 46 pages.
No one picked up on this? "...happy to chat, talking about a new album he has coming out.” Or is the new "album" a collection of 80 45s...? Edit: Oh... so the "new album" could have been McCartney III... I see...
I believe that the conversation occurred when that photo was taken, which was a few years ago (I believe 2017). Funnily enough that train line is the one I use to get to the coast (near Paul) and London.
It's a video for the promotion of the Edge's music rising auction. It was available on November 29, 2021, in the auction's virtual gallery. Here's the video: On December 13, 2021, the bass sold for $471,900.
