Damo Suzuki on tour...

Former vocalist for the German group Can is currently doing some concerts in the US and Canada. He's playing at Tonic in NYC tonight (May 16th) and comes across the border for 5 shows here in Canada after that. I plan to catch the show at Call the Office here in London next Saturday (May 24th).

The group for the Canadian performances is listed on his Web site as: Damo Suzuki with Battleship, Ethel: Jamie Andrew (Bass, Keys, Noise, Engineering, Other Stuff), Carl Didur (Competent Keyboards, Generators, Modulators etc.), Mike Ford (Theremin, Keyboards, Percussion), Mike McLean (Guitar, Keys, Shouting) and Kevyn Wright (Drums, Guitar, Keys, Packaging).

He will return to the US for more shows starting June 13th with a different group of musicians. If anybody catches the Tonic show, please post your thoughts!
