Q-Tip confirmed that the album may be released tonight. However, it's safe to assume that at any measure, it will come out sometime this week.

Downloaded, listening, loving. Reviews will talk about the Funkadelic influence, but I'm also hearing a ton of Shuggie Otis and, improbably, a little Tom Ze.

This is too ****ing good. I'll be listening all night long.

No chance I'm going into work tomorrow. Taking a D'Angelo day.

    Oh. My. Goodness!

It's actually out! I honestly never thought that was ever gonna happen. I'd given up years ago. So glad I was wrong. Off to buy it!

In case it hasn't been mentioned already, it's now up on Spotify (at least in the US). Listening now! I'd say this was my most-anticipated release of the year, but I honestly didn't think we'd see it til at least 2015...and maybe not ever.

Man, I hope we get a tour...

It's out on CD - up on Amazon UK now for sale.

Just finished listening to the whole thing on Spotify and my first impression is that it sounds very Funkadelic. Which is perfect. Will now wait for the vinyl.

has anyone mentioned that Jesse Johnson (of The Time) is on guitar? I know he's the touring guitarist... Jesse is an amazing rock/funk guitarist... way underrated and was very honored to be playing with D'Angelo...

Just heard the "Sugah Daddy" single on Soundcloud: a worthy followup to and continuation of the Voodoo vibe! The album will be a must purchase now...
