Here’s a question about the various Sharon Jones discs.
How do they sound?

I only have one of her albums “I Learned the Hard Way”, listening to it now for the first time in a long time.
The sound isn’t flat out terrible, but it ain’t that great either.
My first thought was: kinda sounds like AM radio, maybe that’s the intention,
If the others are in the same vein I may just pass

Thanks as well for the post about this sale. I bought CDs from Charles Bradley, Sharon Jones, the Coco Mamas and Michael Rau.

 

Sale still seems to be active, despite supposedly having ended on Sunday. I placed an order for 9 CDs last night and the order went through with all titles at the $5 sale price. There were a couple more titles I'd have ordered but they were sold out.
