As many of us know, he is one of THE icons of the outlaw country era and has long lived his great music. A true pioneer and indeed one of the most legendary artists in country music as well.

His stuff is really hard to find. This is my favorite compilation.

I have lifted weights many a time to Rebel meets Rebel.
Rural legend. When I was young, at a local bar here...when DAC came on it was a sing along.

Bear Family issued many twofers of much of his catalog years ago and are still available and you can also download the Columbia catalog off of Amazon and iTunes as well.

    That article says:

In a subsequent post, Lee calls DavidAllanCoe.com a "bogus web site, it is not official," adding that Coe's son made the initial statement and calling it "a lie."

This is very strange. Based on that comment and the merch section when you click on the "buy CDs" link, it takes you to a separate site called CDs

At the start of the page, it's mostly DAC budget CD releases on Gusto and King. However, as you scroll down or hit load more, it begins to display CDs by other unrelated artists. None of the private pressing CDs DAC releases on his own label and sells at his concert merch table are available through this site.

Hospitalized recently for an inner ear infection, which can mimic the symptoms of a stroke per "Saving Country Music.com".
