If its all as good as 'She's Got To Be Somewhere' off of Sky Trails, then I'm in - that is a fantastic Dan homage and a great song!

 

will fagen be on this entire new album with crosby?

 

Interestingly no details, previews or promo clips have emerged on this release to date.

 

the only thing i have seen was on crosby's twitter when someone asked him what he was listening to and he replied "my new album, 'for free', due in the spring"

 

My ears will perk up a little more if it is a collaboration throughout with Donald Fagen.

 

Hope so! Croz has made a string of excellent albums/collaborations, dating back to 2014. A full-length project with DF should be great.

 

I’m a Joni fan, but never dug into the late albums.

I had NOT heard this, and it’s an awesome thing of beauty in a (lately) depressing world.
I like both versions, but Joni’s better, not least because of Wayne Shorter.
