    Wow.
I consider this episode one of the best ones I can remember, I bought the DVD set of season 3 for it.
Lenny's the star in this one (alongside her), but, it's, a very sensitive episode, and I like that.

Bill James (baseball stats guy) said Lander was one of the 100 people who bought his first self published book. He would write him nice, short letters for a while circa 1977-78

So they're down to Shirley, Carmine, Lenny and Rhonda now.

Besides growing up with him on Laverne & Shirley, I remember David L. Lander best from his appearances on the David Lynch shows Twin Peaks and On The Air. He was one of those guys that made you just smile as soon as he appeared on screen.

The only comedy record I own is 'Lenny And The Squigtones' (in fact I have two copies as the first one didn't come with the poster). One of the covers is framed on my wall.

I digitized the album and put them in my Jukebox playlist, which is every bit of music I have. Whenever sides A or B come up I always listen to the whole 20 minutes because they're such a joy.

Naturally, I love 'Laverne & Shirley' too.

Rest in peace, Mr. lander, and thank you.
