damn I'm late on this one, oh well, what can you do...

 

I had mine in the classifieds for $30 and no one wanted it. lol......

maybe cause mine was a cut out. but it was new and sealed when I bought it.

 

but posting links here raises the prices so much on Ebay yeah right...

 

It hasn't been all that long, that this was one of those DCC Gold CD's, that you could pick up in like new condition for $15.

I bought mine back in the early part of 2006, and I paid $15.

'Empire', like all the other Queensryche albums, is very harsh, but Steve pulled out a miracle with this one.

The DCC Gold CD is about the only listenable version of 'Empire' out there.

 

I looked for quite a while before I settled on my sealed cutout. I never seen it for $15.

 

I been trying to buy this disc for a decent price for at least a yar but for some reason almost every single one I come across is a cuttout?!?!?

 

That's pretty much because it didn't sell well.

When 'Empire' on DCC was released, I was still buying any title that caught my fancy, but I remember when I saw the DCC Gold CD, I thought that not even a DCC Gold CD could make this recording sound good, so I passed on it at the time.

It was probably one of the DCC Gold CD's that hung around the store shelves the longest, after DCC went out of business.
