Managed to get tix for Noblesville and both Wrigley shows. The Wrigley shows will be my 1st 'Major' stop w/D&C. In the past has always been an Ohio show which I'm thankful for but is always on the heels or before a Major stop. Result is they tend to hold back on the big jam material and save for the larger city. Now I just need to save for the hotel costs of a Major city!
I scored for the Wrigley Saturday show! Not really a fan of that venue, but it'll be my first D&C show so i'm excited.
I passed on nosebleed seats for Wrigley. I'll probably still go but I didn't see the need to buy those seats now.
Back up in my usual perch for Citi. My only complaint is that the show's not on a Friday or Saturday.
Couldn’t get any decent seats at reasonable price at presale today for Gillette. Watched some seats climb to $745 each in a matter of a few minutes. What was that all about? Presale BS! Will watch for desperate unloading of tickets on secondary market at last minute.
It is such a racket. This pre sale business is how most tickets get sold and most presale (other than fan) is just away to get inventory to to resale market (scalping).
I was on the "waiting list" for CitiField and never got a code. I had no problem getting GA field last year during the regular sale, so hopefully not concerned.
My friend in PA texted me to say, "Hey, I was going to get Dead & Co. tix and ask you to come out, but, forget it, the prices are insane." I told him I'd keep an eye on what the market does so maybe we can go.
Actually, my PA friend pulled the trigger so I’m going to Camden. $126 a ticket. Most expensive cover band ever.
Fab Faux tickets often run into triple digits, and D&C has them beat for "original" members 3 to zip.
Was I complaining? Oh yeah, I was. I can take solace in my 40-something dollar CRB ticket and $32 dollar DSO ticket. Thank you, Rob Eaton.
I actually bought up for my DSO tickets on 12/30 to sit in the Loge section @ Wellmont Theatre. I paid $25 extra to sit there VS. Lower balcony ($59.50 VS. $34.50). Plus we get a rhythm guitarist that sounds like prime era Bob Weir as compared to actual current Bob Weir who sounds like exactly what (???) on guitar
I paid $80 to get Floor GA at the Wellmont to see JRAD. That is a lot for JRAD but seeing them in a small venue is a great experience. Don’t get me wrong, I plan to do some Dead and Company shows at larger venues this year but I love the more intimate experience that a small theater provides.
Yep......no concerns. Easily got a GA field ticket. (I didn't realize that TicketMaster took over selling CitiField. All the previous shows were sold through mlb.com / mets.com)
Got tix for the two Hollywood Bowl shows, I bought night one, my friend bought night two. Great seats for night one and my buddy cheaped out and we’ve got wretched seats for the following night! As long as we’re there it’s all good. Always that little ‘this could be the last time’ fear...
