As you'll note, it's "Fun Sack 2" because the BD for the 1st movie had "Fun Sack".

It's just a pervy name for a collection of promotional tidbits:

"“Videos” provides 19 forms of promotion, with an emphasis on trailers and teasers. Many of these sell the movie in clever ways, so they’re much more fun than usual. “Stills” includes seven posters"

For the first half hour or so I wasn’t all that into it. Too many wink after wink after wink. Brolin finally brought some gravity before it it turned completely into an animaniacs cartoon.
Then after the parachute drop to AC/DC , and the gonzo loss of the team the movie kept the foot floored on the absurdity pedal.

These 2 are as good as super heroes have been.

Erm...it could do without about 80% of the inside Marvel/X-men/Wolverine-jokes...but without it it would have been a pretty run-of-the-mill action hero movie with the exception of
killing off almost a whole team of action heroes in five minutes

I feel the same way... this went through the checklist of the first movie... but with a less interesting plot. They just kept moving from one pop culture joke to the next... with no believable motivation between Deadpool and the kid — they hate each other... they love each other... they hate each other... and so on... like you said — it seemed forced.

The gags were funny — but as a whole it didn’t work like the first one... it’s just a pale imitation.

I’d love to see James Gunn direct one — with less creative control by Ryan Reynolds.

I'm assuming, since HBO had the "Rogue-Cut" of "X-Men: Apocalypse" on their 'On-Demand' service, I'll be able to see the 'Super-Duper Cut' when it shows up on HBO.........maybe.....

I watched the BD/4K UHD yesterday and liked "D2" more the 2nd time than the 1st - I think it's better than the original movie.

The longer cut works fine but doesn't add anything crucial. It's entertaining but if you never see it, you're not missing much - not even the notorious
    Hitler baby scene

Watched it a couple of times over the last few days, very enjoyable with some good laughs and tender moments  in between the decapitations, bloodshed and general mayhem lol!!

Is it better than the first? I think so, more depth and with the introduction of Cable, Domino and Yukio it spreads the focus a little. Looking forward to D3.

I liked it better. The first one seemed a little unsure of itself, like kids trying to get away with naughtiness who weren't quite steady on their feet.

Since the first one did so well, the sequel seems more self-confident.

Yes. Fox is part of Disney now. Doubt it would've happen otherwise?

  17. Fred Savage recreating a scene from Princess Bride, including a recreation of his bedroom, but with Deadpool?

    Yes, please.

It was already in the works before the sale of Fox to Disney. It's a hilarious idea, particularly when you consider they went back into production for a couple of days to shoot all the Fred Savage scenes.

Just saw the 'extended version', thanks to HBO 'on-demand'!
While it's better in establishing the NZ kid, and different music is used in different scenes, some jokes aren't as funny as the ones used in the 'theatrical version'....hard to tell which one is better!
