I think it's amusing... It's not Deadwood or Justified, but it's fine.

And it's coming back for another season BTW.

Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills burned almost to the ground in the Woolsey fire. The ranch set has been used by many Hollywood productions -- from M*A*S*H and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman to Westworld. HBO's Westworld is not currently filming at any location for its upcoming Season 3, and Paramount Ranch isn't the main set for the show. That main set -- which is also being used right now for HBO's Deadwood movie -- is at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, and it has not been affected.

I watched the whole series many years ago, forgot how good it was.

Can anyone confirm which bluray set to get to avoid sync issues? I keep reading about all kinds of problems with the blurays, scared to buy a 2nd-hand copy now.

Was it a limited problem? Only in UK editions? Am I a hooplehead?

    Region 2?
Yeah think just one episode ( or 2) in the uk set. Thought the DVD box was just as good.

I bought the DVD's as they came out. Sounds like no need to upgrade to Blu-ray.

My DVDs have crapped out, especially season 3, so I've been looking to upgrade. But I've been hesitant to do so in light of quality concerns.

I bought the DVD box traded it for the BD box, now I'll have to trade the BD box to get the DVD box back again. Funny old world. :D

Jeez, with Sy and Eddie outta the picture, I sure hope they find a way to get Joannie Stubbs (Kim Dickens) into the mix!

She'd already split from Cy, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Eddie was out of the picture after season 1 wasn't he?

It won’t make it to the theaters. It’ll be on HBO around the time GoT comes back for the last time.

Based on this thread I just started watching this show, NASTY....Ian McShane's character is a piece of work, I'm only 2 episodes into Season 1.

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned in this thread, but the “Deadwood” set was used as the set in “Westworld”. Fun fact.
