Highly recommend the 2 Wicked Lady LPs/CDs they have in stock. Those went OOP years ago and just got repressed. Really killer proto metal/early punk from ‘68-‘72. With the 15% off I got both for under $75. A lot less than even just the 1st comp goes for on discogs these days.

 

When I posted that link to the John & Yoko - POB book, it was selling for $10, but it has now been increased to $14. I don't know how often that happens, but this might be a good reason, aside from risking that a Blowout Bin item will sell out, to pick up something sooner rather than later.

 

Anyone having problems ordering? I placed an order for 9 instock items yesterday, and now they are telling me that 5 of them are backordered. And I've been trying to submit an additional order and it keeps getting cancelled for an authorization failure. My bank tells me there is no issue with the card and actually each charge is still showing as pending.

 

Deepdiscount sent me another item that was canceled/refunded ($4.82)

 

I just got an email to say two items had been cancelled. (BB King and Heaven 17)

I checked my order and it looks like they cancelled the 15% discount as well. Apparently they will not charge for the two missing items but my bank still shows the full amount pending. I've written to customer service to ask how they intend to handle this, and what happened to my EXTRA10 discount on the remaining 5 items.

 

did they ever get back to you about the other one? will you be packing them both up and returning them?

I did order both of them. DD canceled/refunded me. $17.11. (since I ordered, I was willing to pay)

Last I heard, they passed my comment to another department. So nothing, so far. I'm not going to mention the Nick Lowe CD, since they haven't addressed the Byrds LP. It happened about a year or two ago too. They never resolved that either.

 

That was a quick 15% sale. Didn't even have time to get an order in.

I probably got the expiration confused with the $5 off $30 they sent me via e-mail. That's supposedly good until midnight but i get an "invalid code" when trying to use it. This is really unlike my past experiences with ordering from them, which is quite extensive.

 

Well, today they randomly refunded me $57. No idea for what.

Not complaining at all.

wow. these guys with this stuff and UME re-sending people stuff they got 8 months ago. wondering when i might get a surprise...

 

Heck I got 4 Doobie Brothers quadio sets, a 16 disc Chicago Carnegie Hall set and a T shirt days apart back in February.

Mistakes by them are par for the course if their ridiculously horrible customer service gets involved with whatever it might be. Nice to hear someone getting an error in their own favor for a change (if that is what this is), although if so probably means someone else just got screwed over which is their M.O..

 

Just to update, I cancelled the order with out of stock items (received an email confirmation of the cancellation) and they sent me the instock items anyway. And manually charged me for the shipped items.

Also an item that was described as a SACD turned out to only be a regular CD.

 

I ordered a CD that was supposed to be a Japanese pressing...and it was a US pressing with a Japanese barcode sticker on it.
