Has anyone grabbed this one? T. Rex 1972 [5CD Boxset] [Import] on DeepDiscount Curious because apparently there was an issue with defective CDs on this set. Demon offered replacements and all but I’d rather just know if it was screwed up before buying… also on the fence about the sound quality given where a bunch of these tracks originated. I don’t really need it to be some audiophile marvel but if it is straight junk or of bootleg quality, that’s something else.
I like the prices as do we all but the last package they sent me the packing was a sad joke. Anyone ever send a message if that's even possible with a order requesting that they pack properly ? Throwing a heavy boxset in a oversized box with no padding to rattle around is ridiculous.
Honestly, I don't think it'd do much good. These guys have always been hit or miss. Great deals but there have been complaints, intermittently, about packing of goods and sometimes difficulty in making returns. Honestly, it seems like a crap shoot, so whether or not to take a chance comes down to the individual. I have to say that I don't do vinyl. If I did, I'd likely be more worried about how items are packed than I currently am.
My order was a cd box set , corner damage ect. I'm starting to think saving 10 bucks ain't worth the trouble.

Yeah I select: Bargain Bin>Music>Vinyl and then I display 250 items per page so usually if I don’t see anything new on that first page, I don’t bother going through the whole list that day.

...or you could buy the regular version for $41 and make your own mixtape from the songs that are already on the CDs. Can't think how they struggled to shift the "deluxe" version...
