Deep Purple's Perfect Strangers vs. House of Blue Light

I love 'em both.

HOBL gets way too much disdain.

 

I like both, PS a bit more, Mitzi Dupree i really like, The Battle Rages On is a dark album which I like very much, the Title track, Anya and Nasty Piece of Work are Killer IMO, Nasty has such a neat groove to it, love Lords playing on that.

 

Glad you mentioned Jon Lord on this thread, there was a comment earlier (by Gregster) about Lord taking a back seat during the reunion. I could not agree with that assessment. Lots of great moments from Lord on the reunion albums as well as TBRO.
