I saw this cartoon when I was in my 20s, after not seeing it since I was a kid.
I was shocked, and absolutely amused, about the meaning of Fudd’s reaction to Bugs which obviously flew over my head years earlier.

I find that most productions have dialogs or scenes that go over the heads of many viewers. I for one have never heard of a Gunsel, and I never thought of that reference mayonnaise as anything significant when I've seen Lolita before, but now I can't get it out of my head!!!
