I had a preorder for PJ Harveys stories from the city vinyl. Did it at top price of 24.98 because they always have a set price guarantee. I noticed yesterday the price dropped but my order invoice didn’t change today. Also noticing a lot of other vinyl preorders like Tone Poets, the next GBV don’t say ‘preorder price guarantee’. According to their page, it has to say ‘preordsr price guarantee’ to apply. So I cancelled my order and reordered to save a few bucks. In the past my invoice gets adjusted as price drops before release pretty much as soon as the price drop occurs.

    has anyone else noticed this?

I probably would have driven right by this thread if I hadn't received an email within the last day to advise that I received a lower price adjustment of $0.69 on the new Steven Wilson 12" single. The adjustment triggered just after the shipping notification came through.
