Different turntable opinion query.

I'm in need of yet another opinion. Which would be better, a VPI Scout with it's JMW-9 arm or a VPI HW19-jr with a SME 309 arm?

My opinion would be that you should listen to both and choose the one that comes closest to your needed experience of recorded music.

Why do you ask?

More partisanly, I wouldn't be happy with either myself, but then I'm a hairy old linnie.

If there were a place where I could listen to both there wouldn't be a problem. I'm plan on getting a new turntable and I had pretty much settles on the Scout but my local dealer had a deal on the HW-jr with the SME arm. I really know nothing about this arm which I guess is more of the question here as I think the Scout is a better table.
