I have a tool called an Echotone Tonelock adapter. I have a very large collection of 7" 45rpm records and the purpose of the adapter is to correct them being off-center.

I have also started collecting bootleg 12" LPs and a good many of those are also off-center.

My idea is to dink the LP and make the normal small hole into a 45rpm size hole so I can use my Tonelock adapter on the LP.

First step is to buy a dinking tool. I think I found one so I plan on placing my order in a few days.

So, am I super crazy? Anyone else ever heard of anyone dinking a 12" record?
