Discogs - the database is public domain

    As a member that only recently joined, but have been visiting here for the last 10 years, and I've seen many posts/threads about bad online purchasing experiences. In particular, Discogs seems to have a big problem in managing their sellers and the whole buyer experience (pre and post).

    With that in mind, I thought it would be good to let everyone know that the Discogs database is public domain,
    under the CC0 (Collective Commons) No Rights Reserved license (CC0 - Creative Commons ) and can be downloaded here: Discogs Data

    I only recently found this out and brings to mind ... possibilities ... :)

    That's correct, and apps like dbpoweramp use their API for tagging. Definitely pretty cool of them to allow that.
