Great idea. As for now, I believe the Brer Rabbit shorts are in HD on the Alice in Wonderland BD.

yeah....a 'behind song of the south' story. weird thing is they re-released it in the 80's but now its untouchable, saw it a couple years ago as a nostalgia thing, very sentimental and Disney-ish its of its time

I actually pre-ordered mine and paid for mine about 5 weeks ago, here in the USA. I am sure waiting for Nov. 12th with anticipation.

"Song Of The South is a Disney film so it must be included if they say "‘the entire Disney motion picture library’ " will be available. They can certainly put up a notice before the film starts & they can also allow viewers to vote on it's invlusion & post the results.

I smell a class action lawsuit. Subscribers who complain about Disney not offering SotS will get 13 cents apiece. The lawyers will split $46 million.

Actually, it sounds close to the recent James Band case, where the complaint was that Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale (1967) weren't included. I'm pretty sure almost nobody expected those to be (the titles were even listed on the side of the box set), but the word "Complete", or something similar was in the description.

The case went through, and purchasers of the Bond 50 box set were granted HD versions of those 2 films via Vudu.

What's the intro price for Disney+ in the US? I'd pay $5.99 or whatever to get an HD copy of the 4K resto of SotS.

I currently don't subscribe to any streaming services but over the weekend, during a game, I saw a commercial for the Disney service. Gotta say, it looks impressive! Didn't think much of the idea when it was 1st announced but as always, Disney's gonna be a contender!

Talking about censoring content, it appears Dumbo (animated) didn't cut out the crows as was previously reported/speculated which I'm glad for. They're fun characters and actually a few of the small selections of nice guys in the movie. Plus, they sing that incredibly witty song.
Story wise, it would be interesting to see how they'd cut it out. I guess they'd cut from the pink elephant scene right to the final circus scene, since it takes place in the circus as well. (even though it doesn't explain Dumbo 'suddenly' being sober and the importance of the feather. Not to mention it would make an already short feature even shorter.

Can I assume the app would be out before the launch?

I hope so. I am a subscriber that paid over a month ago and I think that Disney will send me a link. Only time will tell.

Disney Plus tweeted today all the titles that will be available when the streaming service launches (Disney+ (@disneyplus) | Twitter ).

Also, it published a video (over 3 hours!) of all these titles.
