Well, I guess... But Martyrs I disliked a lot more. I think because it dressed itself up to imply it was exploring something of great philosophical importance. And it was just an excuse for extended scenes devoted to the brutalisation of young women.
Blu Ray steelbooks Game Of Thrones you can get a good price for example. Aside, if trading bd I usually put the disc in a thicker amaray case..prefer thinner ones for storage.
gotcha...there isn't many places on the web that gave the prices Amazon did...sometimes they paid high for OOP DVDs & BD.
It was annoying. Like some kid editors first experiment after watching a Scorsese film Over the top, and not in a good way.
I agree. The mother's story was what kept my attention but I found myself having a hard time with the son's story. I just couldn't empathize with those characters.
I saw this movie once. Through the first half of the film a was in shock by how explicit this film was. Once I got to the middle of the film, I simply went numb. I have heard stories about why this film was made but in my opinion it misses the mark. This film is absolutely horrible.
1. I found both "The Evil Dead" (1981) and the remake to be fairly disturbing. I really loved both films. This was one of those rare exceptions where I found the remake to be the best one. 2. Both of the Halloween remakes were pretty disturbing as well. I enjoyed them but they were not the best.
Thought this was standard DVD procedure. It's a micro second ... read that's one of the advantages with Blu Ray apart from up to 5 times better image definition than DVD. I've noticed it before on DVD players as well.
