That is some great store. I am just back from vacation in the US and spent a couple days in Nashville . That store is amazing for cheap and extremely good condition used Cds and boxset. The selection is amazing , all genres. Spent 4 hours there.
Went to Phonoluxe too. You want gospel ? Best store in the world. Mind boggling selection.
You guys in the US should consider yourselves lucky with record stores . We don’t have those in Europe.

Books are only good for transmitting knowledge.

    Who needs that?

Neither, apparently, can all the people who continue to patronise little independent bookshops, who in this city at least seem to be doing very nicely thank you. Reports of death... etc etc.

I scored many CDs two days ago, from 10 cents to 50 cents. Insane. They get cheaper and cheaper. I got a free one as well because I said it didn't look in good shape. "Oh, you can have it, it plays" (and it does).

Not if you live in Japan or Germany. Not even here. There was more chance of getting scoffed at 10 years ago.

By the young millennials on my team in work who don’t really care about music, yes.

They love me at Aomeba i scour the CD section relentlesly and enjoyably for hours when i go there. It's really fun. So much cool stuff. Similar to the country LP section not as many scouring it but i always find gems. So no but in life i mention it to ambivilance of most i talk to. Easy to listen on the phone. But, i still love CDs and LPs and 45s. My sport.

Here's something I noticed. There was a time you'd never see a Diament issue Led Zeppelin CD. Now they're all over the place.
