Some fantastic synthpop! My wife flipped over the posted track in addition to "So Unreal"...you'll see a few Bandcamp sales tonight when we have a chance to give your discography a better listen. Great work artistically and some fine production as well.

Thanks, and be sure to post here with any future stuff or changes (like a Bandcamp page).

    Hey y'all,

I just wanted to share a new track from my original project, Black Pope.

The song was recorded in Monique Studios in Cork, Ireland with producer Cian Riordan (who mixed St. Vincent’s latest album, “Daddy’s Home”) and tells the story of a young person witnessing a demonic possession on a dance floor.

    Hope you guys enjoy!

    Much love,

    BP

Very cool song. You're right it does flow really nice... I like the atmosphere of it. Good luck with the new recording. Look forward to hearing it.

Thank you! yes you're right, I'm 39. I guess the music from the 90s is just ingrained in me so that's what comes out when I write a song...

Thank you. I'll post when we have some new stuff to share.

I'm also 39, and I find the exact same thing.

Man, I’m glad I posted early (page 2) because y’all have some good stuff out there! Very intimidating to a do-it-all-by-myself-at-home guy like me.

But why did this thread lose sticky status? I was enjoying coming back to it every few days.

Seconded. I only found the thread in the first place because it was stickied. Now it shows up in my alerts so I can still find it but still it would be nice to keep it visible!

I completely agree with you - I think it's still hot enough to pin on page 1. I've purchased or downloaded 3 or 4 artists into recent rotation, really a surprise thread.

Here's an overtly Beatles-esque (even Rutles-esque) theme song I wrote for my freshman speech class videos since we're online again. I can't sing worth crap, so the lead singer came from fiverr.

There are some rough spots, and it's only a rough mix. I'm trying to learn more about mixing and mastering, but they're not part of my skill set yet.

For those into loud and fast. We have a full length CD out as of a few months ago. Some vinyl is in the works.

I’m certainly more of a musician than a videographer, but here is the video for my forthcoming release.

Just for fun. This is a short bumper that I put at the start on my class videos as we're still online. More of an 80s sound than I usually do. (Footage of me playing was recreated for the video.)
