I also love sci-fi like 5,000,000 Years To Earth and cheap horror like The Brain That Wouldn't Die and The Thing With Two Heads.

If you can find it, Corman wrote a very enjoyable autobiography titled How I Made a Hundred Movies in Hollywood and Never Lost a Dime.

That would be the horror genre, most definitely.

Not to keen on turn of the century westerns with motor cars and flying machines. :)

Surprised with gore western hit from 2015 didn’t think I’d be able to stomach it, being

    Bone Tomahawk.

Westerns and Noir, mainly, but I'm kinda selective. I find there are an awful lot of poor Westerns whereas I can watch the crappiest Noir and get something from it. I'm also partial to old-style Horror - the pre-1965 stuff that builds tension and atmosphere as opposed to the axe in the face style - though that has its merits.

Movies with good dialogue are my favorites. Excluding horror movies, the genre isn't important.

Sort of a dead heat between:

Science Fiction / superhero / steampunk / distopia
    Action / Adventure / Crime
    Historical drama
    Western
