I know that there are many people on this forum who do not appreciate Will Ferrell, but when I saw Anchorman in the theater back in the Summer of 2004.......I laughed so hard I cried, and my ribs hurt the next day.

You're telling me you didn't laugh when Leave It To Beaver's mom Barbara Billingsley spoke jive?!

I just busted a gut laughing watching this all over again.

Though I do have to admit there's a lot of "almost funny" moments where the idea is funny but the execution just doesn't land.

My wife loves all the Rodney Dangerfield movies. Most of his one liners crack me up too.

I've not seen the original "Naked Gun" in so long that I don't remember what I thought of it.

Fun (?) fact: the night I saw "33 1/3", I returned home to find castmember OJ Simpson all over the news . It was the night of the infamous Bronco chase!

As I mentioned earlier, I love "Ruthless People", but that's the only ZAZ film I liked - and not coincidentally, it's the only one that didn't go for ridiculously over the top huor..

Did I laugh at that scene when I first saw the movie in the 80s? Maybe - don't remember.

Does it make me laugh now? Nope! :hide:

I have a soft spot for Beverly Hills Ninja with Chris Farley. I don’t normally like stuff like that but this one tickles my funny bone. Is that one stupid?

    The Groove Tube
    Caddyshack
    Caveman
    Cabin Boy
    Tropic Thunder
The first two Cheech And Chong movies

Grant Life is a rock, but the radio rolled me!

I think it would be categorized as offensive today, but I love Martin Mull's "The History Of White People In America", especially the part about every person bringing their own personal jar of mayonnaise to a barbeque.

Airplane is like a live action Mad Magazine movie parody. I think it is one of the funniest movies ever (although I have seen it so many times, I don't really laugh anymore).

I like movies that are humorous. Then somebody has to point out that they are "stupid humor" movies to me because I'm stupid.
