Supertramp ~ Crime of The Century Asylum Rudy Hide In Your Shell Dreamer School (the giveaway...) Oops, I didn't see someone had solved it already. So I did it anyways, I guess it can be played solo in the past tense. I'll post one soon!
Train? Did I post a pic of a train? You are both very close in the genre, mood and tone of this artist and album, but not JD nor Cat. This Cat caught all The Birds back in the day... Supposedly He and Carly never shared the Free Love Era ethos with sin...
James Taylor, "Sweet Baby James" (Blossom, Oh Susanna, Steamroller, Country Road, Sunny Skies) Edit: Plus "Fire and Rain"!
First pressing on WB Green label did not list the two hits "Fire and Rain" and "Country Roads" on the cover:
I'm ready! Interesting factoid, I stumbled upon looking for the "Oh Susanna" image, turns out this statue in the picture was recently taken down for being or depicting racism.
Pictures 2 and 3 made me hope it was the Triffids' "The Black Swan" ("Fairytale Love" and "New Year's Greetings"), but probably too obscure.
I thought maybe Bob Dylan's Infidels, but could get only 3 (4 at a stretch) to fit, and the Coke ad not at all...
No, not Dylan. Clue: this album is from the '70s It had two major hit singles and one minor, and there is a picture for each single.
I got it, posting artist and title first, to get it in first!!!! The songs to follow! Who Loves You Storybook Lovers December 1963 ... the give away... nice clue! Silver Star ( I could have sworn it was a gold star first time I looked...) Harmony Perfect Harmony Nice one!
Excellent! 100%. That was fast! I was worried about "Oh What A Night" being too easy. Bonus if you can complete the names on the invite
Floundering Lots of "blues" here. I considered Dire Straits but that went nowhere. Considered Steve Winwood, too. Considered Paul Butterfield.
