Don Kirshner's Rock Concert

Did anyone back in the Seventies ever watched Don Kirshner's Rock Concert?I was way too young back then but do remember seeing a few episodes,just like The Midnight Special,which was out around the same time.Then in the mid Nineties,VH1 showed some episodes of DKRC and MS.I think Don Kirshner's Rock Concert was better,personally.Then around a decade ago there was an announcement that there was going to be a DKRC box set coming out soon.Nothing has been released.Does anyone have recollections and ever attended a live taping of this great show?
