Honestly I didn’t know him until now. Might heard his name though, but couldn’t care less about r‘n‘b / rap / hiphop.

But the whole seems just made up (and very poorly).

    The world is crazy, indeed...

I don't like Drake. I never liked Drake. But, anyone who is honest with themselves will have to resign to the fact that this younger generation that grew up with his music will indeed listen to him in 50 years. After all, many of us are nearing our 70s, or over 70s and we are still listening to David Seville, Herman's Hermits, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, and Ohio Express.

As long as somewhere is still streaming his songs presumably... ;)

My point is that every generation or two have their cultural icons. Maybe we older guys don't like or understand what the younger people like and why, but, that's OK. The music isn't necessarily for us. We are invited to partake, but it the music doesn't move us, let it be.

My problem with Drake is is lack of singing talent and the way he mumbles and deadpans his words. But, that's the way a lot of the youth talk anyway, so they are cool with it. And, Drake isn't a bad looking guy, so the ladies like him.

    Good thing Drake's Canadian.:p

I think it’s really funny. I’m aware of Drake and his popularity but have yet to hear him. And I don’t think the tattoos going to change that.

I believe he's married to Duck. One of the Hertfordshire Drakes. Frightfully common.

If threads about imaginary Beatles albums are acceptable, then so should a thread about the biggest contemporary artist in the World getting a tattoo that references the Beatles.

I'm pretty sure Drake is a Beatles fan, too. He has referenced them in his music before in a positive manner.

Exactly; as someone said before, an act will only be bigger than The Beatles when they stop being compared to The Beatles. If in 40 years time people are being told they are bigger than Drake or whoever, then they can say they are in a similar category.

Well....they had a good run...50+ years at the top.....I'm surprised people remained interested for so long

Maybe now we can have less threads about The Beatles and more about the actual artists who are the most influential of this generation :agree:

I mean if he got a tattoo of just him strollin up Abbey Road that'd be different. But also not disrespectful.

    Nothing to see here, folks.

with all the money he has THAT was the best tattoo he could get? I don't care that it is The Beatles but c'mon, who tattooed that? His kid? If this was Ink Master that tattoo artist would be packing their bag.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard of a celebrity, or anyone else) getting their own image tattooed on their own skin...

    Bono? Madonna? Kanye? Sting?
    Tom Cruise? Mike Tyson?
