I'm not tuned into the spiritual world. I know some houses and other places are supposedly haunted. It was a little creepy, especially on stormy nights, but I never saw evidence of the 'other side.' But, I'm kind of blind to it. I'm more concerned about stepping into a wormhole.

They've been discontinued. And I prefer the brute force of the THXs:righton:

Actually we started watching the Blu-ray of Dr. Zhivago, a couple of nights back. we paused it and it is still in the Oppo player.

I don't have Casablanca on disc, but before VHS tapes came on the scene, myself and some of our friends watched Casablanca on 16mm in B&W. That would have been in the Middle to late 70's.

Nobody said anything about it being haunted.

Probably indoor outdoor speakers because I would spend 90 percent of the time in the grotto.

Then some under water speakers are called for as well.

The same as I have now:
McIntosh C33 preamp, McIntosh 2155 amp feeding vintage Altec Lansing Flamenco speakers.

I would love a full matching 7.2 system of discontinued Paradigm Signature speakers in maple.

    So shiny!

But I couldn’t afford them 20 years ago and they got discontinued

WOW! I liked the Paradigm Signature series speakers, I had not seen the Maple ones before, they are really exceptional looking (and costly) tower speakers. I would loved to have a system built on these, but I could not have afforded it either.

The signature series are exceptional sounding speakers.

I feel that I kind of came sort of close to them when I bought a pair of Polk LSiM707's. They are $4k speakers which can compete favorably with many $6k to $8k speakers. Polk could only offer these speakers for $4k/pr. because of economics of scale. I bought them on BOGO for $2k. :)

They might be the next thing to the Paradigm Signature's.

    I can understand your disappointment!

Maybe, dome day, you will come across a pre-loved pair.
