McVicar starring Roger Daltrey and Adam Faith.
Quite a popular film amongst Who fans in the UK.

The ones that I want the most on Region 1:

Paperhouse - got 4 stars from Ebert and the director went on to Candyman but not region 1 Bluray.
One Night Stand (1984) - similar, a well reviewed film from a director who went on to bigger projects.

It will never happen, but it would be great to have Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and ST: Voyager in Blu Ray. The same goes for U2 Live At Red Rocks.

Blake Edwards’ last (?) films, Skin Deep and Switch.

Switch exists on a German BluRay in the wrong aspect ratio (the sides are chopped off) and with glowing edges around everyone, and the sound is 7db lower than it is supposed to be. You can see the same scan on iTunes. It was recently licensed by a French company for a BluRay - but when they received the HD master they were so appalled by the poor quality that they immediately cancelled the title and refunded all preorders. The film needs a new scan.

Widescreen dvd with the cropped HD version on top of it:

    To name a few Disney:
    That Darn Cat
    The Black Cauldron
    Splash

I’m in the Disney Movie Club just for their exclusives on blu-ray. A few gems have popped up such as 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Freaky Friday and Honey I Shrunk the Kids. The Black Hole is a recent one. I have hope that more will follow. Many of those that made it to DVD are pan and scan. Luckily some were widescreen in the UK with That Darn Cat being one of them. Of course Song of the South will never see the light of day.

The Snake Eater trilogy still needs to be released on blu-ray. How long are we supposed to wait?

The Snake Eater films are wholesome family entertainment.
