Well, now that all of these discs hit the cd clubs, I'd say the value of this box set has dropped dramatically. I'd be surprised if this went for more than $50-$75. Then again, overbidding on ebay is so common that I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything.

?!?! - That is a really low starting price, but it appears to be an experienced seller. I've already cherry-picked the series for the "classic" titles ('60's releases plus BLOOD ON THE TRACKS) but that one is probably worth watching.

As most things go on ebay - it is already bid up to $93.00 at the time of this post. I am sure it will go higher. People are so hyped up on getting a bargain, they get caught up in the "excitement" and price themselves right out of that bargain. ;)

It was available at Costco for $150 new when it was first released. Ebay is truly a strange place.

Maybe I should auction off my box set and replace it with individual cd club discs. The box itself is nothing to write home about -- it doesn't even comfortably house all of the discs. I haven't tried to put BoB back in it.

I've seriously been tempted to list just the box on eBay. I sold an empty Stanley Kubrick DVD box once on eBay for around $30. It was the first release too, not the newer box. I clearly stated it did not include the DVDs. People don't read the auctions sometimes.
