Had the pleasure of interviewing him and it was a lot of fun talking with him about rock's past. If you live on the East Coast especially in the '50s and '60s, you should be familiar with him.
Price is back up to $10.99 now, but it's worth mentioning that it's always a good idea to at least skim the reviews before purchasing an e-book. In this case there were some negative comments about the formatting of the Kindle version of the book. Not all e-books are implemented well compared to the paper editions, and I generally tend to pass on them if multiple reviewers complain about the formatting (although this is admittedly less of an issue if you're only paying a couple of bucks as opposed to full price).
I do look at reviews and often gets the free samples. In this case. I didn't find anything wrong with the formatting and I go across multiple devices (phone, tablet). As for the price, you're right. E-book prices are very volatile and for me if I think might like the book, I'll get it at the lower price because it may not be that way for long.
