I just scored what at first seemed to be a remastered Abba "Arrival" CD. Then the seller goes on to correct the description. Once I read what it actually was, I grabbed it!

How does that happen... is this something to do with the item discription coming from "Muse Inc"? I see them on Ebay descriptions a lot; I take it they aren't anything to do with the seller?

Yep, it's that pesky Muze bug again. :realmad:

[rant] How many complaints is it going to take to get Ebay to realize the information's coming up wrong!! [/rant]

    It's a bug?

I'm realtively new to Ebay, especially Ebay.com as I'm in the UK. Is Muse supposed to be like an auto descriptions facility?

When half.com merged with Ebay these muse problems started to show up on a regular basis. You really have to read the fine print and ask the seller especially when it involves DCC's or MFSL's gold CD's and apparently now even regular CD's. It's Ebay's fault because they removed part of the data base where sellers had more options prior to the merging.

I'm going to guess that Ebay sellers get suckered into entering a UPC code to automagically fill in the album data. Nice, sure, IF the right data were filled in! Sellers get suckered in because it's an easy way to complete a listing. Why retype all the information when all you have to do is select existing information already in a database?
