I'm just kind of hoping there's enough interest in California 60's due to this and Tarantino's film that maybe some documentary series could happen. Using Domenic Priore's Riot On Sunset Strip book as a template, it would be THE ultimate word on the 1960's California sound. However, I'm sure there's a lot of clearance issues with music. And even with this film, I think they knew from the get-go, you can only cover so much and promote your own career at the same time (Dylan's). I will say it's nice they talked about Gene Clark and his influence. That probably wouldn't have happened had this been made ten or so years ago.

I watched this film a couple of weeks ago. It's ok but A) keeps returning to the same few people for comment; B) after a while the Jacob Dylan live segments felt obtrusive.

There's a good film to be made about this topic, but this really isn't it.
