Ed's Awesome Sounds has filed for bankruptcy

If you have any open orders with Ed's Awesome Sounds, you'll need to open a "item not received" case with PayPal (or other form of payment). Since it's a legal issue, Paypal needs to give Ed ten days to respond to the claim. I knew the price on those King Crimson boxes was too good!

Here's the message on Ed's website:

"We regret to inform you that EdsAwesomeSounds has had to make the difficult decision to permanently close and seek Chapter 7 relief from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. In the event that you have an open order we unfortunately will not be able to complete the transaction. Please contact PayPal or your credit card company to process a refund. Thank you"

That's too bad. Bought a bit of stuff from them recently - all delivered. That said, their prices always seemed almost too good and I never understood the economics of the B2G1 promos, etc. Then again, maybe that's whay they went under.
