Edward G Robinson

It is one of my favorites too.

 

Larceny Inc is one of my favorites. The scene where he wraps the package is great.

 

Just watched this after reading the opening post. Great movie, a little silly at times but all in all quite good...and funny...and a Christmas movie.

Have to check out Small Time Crooks.

 

I have been watching a bunch of his movies. He's so good, so talented

Just enjoyed Ballots Or Bullets this past weekend!

 

Some of his radio work is also excellent.

 

I enjoyed Vice Squad, a fairly low-budget 1953 police procedural.

Dunno why they called it that, though, since it was basically about running down some bank robbers. The "vice" angle only figured incidentally in the plot.

But EGR was his entertaining self, with a good supporting cast.

 

Scarlet Street is my favorite.

Double Indemnity is a favorite. What a great character Edward G. played. And now I'll have to look for A Hole In The Head for the trifecta of Sinatra, Robinson, and Ritter.
