    Make Me Rainbows was a John Williams song for the 1967 film Fitzwilly's Date, slightly syrupy, and picked up by the Johnny Mann Singers.

    However, it also got a marvellous big band makeover for Ella Fitzgerald and the Count Basie Orchestra and was performed at their knockout appearance at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 1979.

    It may already have been in her trio repertoire, but I would like to know who arranged the big band version as heard here live ...
