I absolutely LOVE this album! I strongly desire to have the Steve Hoffman Gold CD breath of life touch on this one... :) Would the same reason that prevented EJ GH Vol2 from being released also prevent this one? I would buy ten copies of it!!! :D

    Kevin,

I agree. I hope they also include the single "Philadelphia Freedom".

The reason why Elton John's GH 2 (on Rocket, DCC, MCA or any label!) was never released is because of a dispute with Dick James Music and .... darn, the other publishing company. Can't remember..... must be getting old.

DCC actually has it "in the can" (according to Steve) but can't release it.

I agree - it's one of his best works! :)

Captain Fantastic would be great!!! "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" is my favorite Elton John tune ever ...

I've never heard a CD version that sounded good. I have an early US LP that's fine, but I'm sure it could be improved upon ...

I've got an DJM CD from 1984. Sounds pretty good to me. It has "We all fall in love sometimes" and "Curtains" together as track 9.

I'm going to wait for the SH mastered gold or normal CD. Hope he can get this one done.
