Highly rated on Imdb and Rotten Tomatoes. Most respected critics rate it highly. We can't all like the same things I guess.

I passed out and it caused pandemonium. I was mortified.

I was working for a radio station. Not a very good one. But it was my job to be audio engineer and script writer for ads. For those who did radio, I was a "Cart boy".
Instead of getting cool records or Cds, I mainly got restaurant chits and movie tickets for promos.

Diary of A Vampire. Yeah. Premiere. Place was fully packed and they literally did not have A/C running and we were all in there like an airplane. Elbow to elbow.
That scene when the biting and blood, going after the wrists and flying into the air got me grossed out. I thought this was going to be a really good film, but I didn't like it and I couldn't breathe.

So my fiance' thinks I didn't pass out because I didn't warn her I felt like I was going to faint. She goes to the screen and turns around to alert everyone that I wasn't responding. This was about 200+ people. The whole place was on top of me when I woke up. When I was coming to, I could just mumble for everyone to pull themselves back. What a feeling to be on the floor that pissed off. Ambulance came.

So I didn't walk about, but I asked to be wheeled out. I remember saying, "Tom Cruise Sucks!"

Literally had no idea what you were talking about. Only because of your last sentence did I suddenly realize you're referring to INTERVIEW with a Vampire.

    Not "Diary".

That mix sounds like a far better movie than either of these titles by themselves. :)

    Good point

I don’t mind seeing bad movies that much. Just bad movies that are boring

Critics, I find tend to like or dislike films that agree or disagree with their personal outlooks. I never judge a movie based on "professional" reviews. Which also gave an 81° approval rating to Pink Flamingos.

I far more prefer audience opinions.

Maybe that’s why there was no follow the 2011 film. Rooney Mara tried hard to get one made.

When you walked out, you forfeited the authority to say how bad it was.

High Anxiety is my favorite Mel Brooks film; I still consider it one of the funniest films ever.

I just recently saw “Magnolia” for the first time. I thought it was terrific.
