You should listen to "Sea Change", if you enjoyed "Morning Phase".

Beatles' White Album and Sgt. Pepper's Giles Martin remixes. I've listened to each once and enjoyed the experience, but there's only so many times I can sit through these albums in one lifetime, remixed or not.

I'm pretty sure I've only listened to Pet Sounds once.

Pet Sounds is one of them, severely overrated in my opinion. Plus several others. I tried, but it's just not my music.

I find that most Radiohead is pretty boring until almost without warning they hook you. Their records make nice wallpaper music for when you're doing other things until, without warning, you're constantly humming the tunes. That's the time to listen to them properly. They suddenly make sense.

That's been my experience, anyway. :)

Beach Boys are definitely a group that's not for everyone. Even people who love them can't fathom, to use a random example, how they thought those matching striped shirts were a good look for years on end.

I like the Bends. OK Computer is very good , but over praised and that reduces it somewhat. After that it seems a mixed bag, and the band seems to have left songs behind on too many occasions. But as I say, I need yo listen to the later stuff more, before I can solidify an opinion.

I don't know how famous the album was. Lots of famous musicians. But the album sure is dreadful, IMO. Forty years later, my old best friend and I still joke about it.

I almost bought it (again) in a used vinyl store recently. I just laughed and put it back in the bin. It would have been like remarrying my ex-wife: Possibly nostalgic; but not something I'd want to do.

The Velvet Underground and Nico. It's - to date - the only album I've thrown away after listening to.

How famous is Chvrches first album, The Bones of What You Believe? Not very. Okay, I guess that doesn't count.

Bought it in a library sale for £1, thought "this might be alright". It wasn't.

Norah Jones - Come Away with Me. Got it for Xmas because I "like jazz" and this was "jazz". Yes I do and no it isn't.

Every Bowie album I've heard, Ziggy, Low, Young Americans, Aladdin Sane, Blackstar, Diamond Dogs, & Heroes. I was trying to see if I'd like one after he died. I didn't click with any of them. Not for me really.

Radiohead's Kid A, though I did like the album. Radiohead is just not my kind of band. Pretty sure I gave OK Computer 2 listens...The Bends twice, I like that one the most.

    Fleetwood Mac : Rumours
    The Doors : s/t
    The Stooges : s/t, Funhouse
    The Velvet Underground : s/t 3rd album
    Soundgarden : Superunknown, Badmotorfinger

There was a whole time I listened to tons of albums only once, those are some I remember that I didn't dislike nor like enough to listen again.

Presumably that's the side that isn't In A Gadda Da Vida? I think I only listened to that side once too.

No, it isn't jazz. But it is a good album once you forget about labelling it. Try listening with the lovely visuals (of the lovely Norah) in this video. I love the understated relaxed playing in this one, which if you must label it sounds more country than jazz to my ears.
