We have had topical threads on album covers, but this is a general thread on our favorite album covers. This is the front photograph or artwork featured on the cardboard sleeve that housed the record. (This thread is not about song covers.)

To kick it off: Heart, Little Queen

I had a hard time finding this large of a picture (and I may have sacrificed a little sharpness.) The beautiful Wilson sisters, Ann and Nancy, along with their three bandmates in the background, are portrayed as a medieval troop that traveled from town to town entertaining the common folk (that's my best guess.)

I don't know of another pair of sisters in one band who were so talented -- and beautiful to boot.

    For obvious reasons.

Edit: Heres a slightly better, sharper image from the archives.

Ha. I just wish I found a better image. I've also got limited means, hell I'm posting all this from my PS4.

Fun fact about this cover.....during part of the shoot, Carly was actually topless, this shot included.
Everyone thought there was enough "covered", but when the final artwork came in, Elektra got a little queasy, think too much was still showing....so they ordered a "top" to be airbrushed in!
However, when you see the original promo photo I have from across the room, the airbrushed top actually disappears, and you see the shot as it was originally intended!

I have to go with an early album by the band that so many of us love. The photographic style became iconic and spawned many imitations.
