    Pink Floyd / Animals ( lucky enough to see them that year play in Soldier Field Chicago). Bring on that bloody 5.1 SACD already.
    Just edged out by Steely Dan's Aja.
    The outstanding musicianship of those session players, in particular Joe Sample, led me to explore other music they were involved in and turned me on to the world of jazz. ( I was sixteen at the time of it's release)
