Not something I listen to a lot but a band that deserves some respect and historical recognition: Minor Threat - zero albums, a bunch of EPs and singles that you can fit on one CD. Yet they started a whole genre and subculture.

    My favorite would be:

    The Sundays.

A few local bands to South Louisiana:
The U.S. Times, then just The Times (2 albums)
The Cold (New Orleans band). 1 album that's really a compilation of a bunch of singles they released throughout the early 80s on side 1, and a full live performance on side 2.

Four reasonable choices, and one (A-Ha) that has many more studio albums.

I always really loved the David and David album. David Baerwald put out two very good solo albums, Bedtime Stories and Triage among others, after the break-up.

Just discovered today...this is Green Day doing garage rock! It's great - brand new pretty price-y & after announcing tour next year (2020) I'm sure prices will go higher. Got a used copy in VG+++ condition from Seller I frequently purchase from. Excited to find this, b/c Billie Joe Armstrong also started another garage band, The Longshot, but their new release isn't available on CD format.
