For acoustic I just discovered this unbelievable guy on YT. He's doing complete arrangements with chords, rhythm and melody. Amazing stuff on his channel and my new favourite.

Richard Thompson. One of the few innovators on both acoustic and electric, plays in a wide range of styles, and is often instantly recognizable with just a few notes.

Plus his playing has (literally) made my jaw drop (at the Paradise in Boston in 1985) and my hair stand on end.

Since when did Eric add another guitar player to his band (let alone a female one)? I never saw him with another guitarist....at least not that I can recall...

Hendrix, always Hendrix, he was just otherworldly. Lucky to have seen him once before he passed.

    Just beneath him:
    —For Jazz, Grant Green
    —For Blues, T-Bone Walker
    —For Rock, Chuck Berry
    —For Country, Merle Travis
    —For Folk, Richard Thompson
