Dr. Strangelove Onibaba A Fistful Of Dollars Red Desert Woman In the Dunes Chumlum Lilith The Naked Kiss Dog Star Man Diary Of a Chambermaid
I am always bad at remembering specific dates and was surprised to see that 1964 was actually a decent year in film for one of the last years of the bloated studio system. It was not the best movie of the year, but Goldfinger is probably the most important film of the year for me. I am a huge Bond fan, and have probably seen that movie more than I would like to admit... Other notables include: A Hard Days Night Zulu Dr. Strangelove Marry Poppins My Fair Lady
Fail Safe Advance to the Rear The Americanization of Emily The Patsy The Disorderly Orderly 7 Faces of Dr. Lao The Pink Panther A Shot in the Dark The World of Henry Orient Good Neighbor Sam Marnie Sex and the Single Girl Ensign Pulver Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte Seven Days in May The Killers
Dr. Strangelove The Last Man On Earth Marnie The Umbrellas of Cherbourg A Fistful of Dollars Women in the Dunes Onibaba
Ackchyually (pushes up those nerd glasses)...according to Wikipedia The Pink Panther released in Europe in December of 63, but came out in the states in 64. I missed it on my list of films cause i thought 63 as well, but looks like it is a 64 release in America...so I would add this to my list as well.
Bande a Part Diary of a Chambermaid Dr. Strangelove A Hard Day's Night Marnie The Masque of the Red Death Les Parapluies de Cherbourg Red Desert T.A.M.I. Show Woman in the Dunes
I'm having a senior moment here...what's the one with-Sidney Poitier and Richard Widmark set in the middle ages?
I see there were 3 or 4 Zatoichi films released in 1964. Always up for some Zatoichi as well as Bobby Lee's Blind Kung Fu Master.

I know these have already been mentioned.... To me, 1964 means Beatles and Bond. So A Hard Days Night and Goldfinger.
Woman In The Dunes Onibaba Pale Flower The Pumpkin Eater The Visit Seven Days In May The Best Man Seance On A Wet Afternoon A Hard Day's Night
AHDN Dr. Strangelove The TAMI Show Goldfinger The Killers Zulu and on the other hand--- Man's Favorite Sport? would have to get my vote as one of the worst movies from the sixties; it's definitely the worst movie in the Howard Hawks canon!
